My background is in architecture and interior design — over a decade of training and practice before I moved to the UK in 2023. I spent my first years here in London, then gradually migrated south. Brighton felt immediately right in a way I recognised but couldn't quite explain, until I remembered I was born by the sea.
That sense of place — what makes a space feel like somewhere — is at the heart of how I work. I think about rooms the way an architect does: how you move through them, how they function, what the proportions say before the furniture even arrives. I'm drawn to vintage pieces not for nostalgia, but because they bring a warmth and individuality that stops a staged home feeling like a showroom.
